This policy explains how the app "Auto Study Planner" (Japanese title: 勝手に学習計画, hereafter "the App") handles your information. By using the App you are taken to have agreed to this policy.
The App requires no account and no sign-in. All of the following is stored only on your own device and is never transmitted or uploaded to any external server, including any server operated by the developer.
Uninstalling the App deletes this data from your device completely. The App currently offers no cloud backup and no synchronisation between devices.
The App uses your device's local notification feature to tell you which tasks you did not finish that day. Notifications are generated entirely on the device, and their contents are never sent anywhere. You can turn notification permission on or off at any time in your device settings.
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertising. AdMob may collect information such as an advertising identifier (the Advertising ID on Android, the IDFA on iOS) in order to serve and optimise ads. On iOS, in line with the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework introduced in iOS 14.5, an identifier is used for personalised advertising only if you grant permission in the system prompt. If you decline, ads are still shown, but they are served as non-personalised advertising.
For details of how Google handles this information, please see:
The App's paid plans (subscriptions) are processed through the subscription management service RevenueCat together with the Apple App Store and Google Play billing systems. Payment details such as credit card numbers are never collected or stored by the developer or by the App; they are handled directly by Apple and Google. An anonymous device identifier and purchase history are sent to RevenueCat so that your subscription status can be determined.
Beyond what is necessary for the advertising and billing purposes described above, your information is never provided or sold to any third party.
The App is intended primarily for students preparing for examinations. It requires no account and does not ask for personal information such as a name or email address. Even so, we recommend that younger users use the App with the understanding of a parent or guardian.
This policy may be changed without prior notice to reflect changes in the law or in the service. Where a change is significant, it will be announced on this page.
